They are building a new apartment complex the next block over from my mom and all I hear from her are the complaints about traffic, noise, and crime. But when I ask where they are supposed to build new housing. She doesn't have an answer.

I also understand that pain. It's why when I have to write requirements for positions I clearly break them into hard requirements and nice to have items.

It's so discouraging to spend an hour filling out all the questions to then hear nothing. I think companies should be required to respond within so many days

Seriously, you can't even pickup a graphic novel of a comic. It'll be Essential <Character> #1 and be five unrelated stories from random issues. That's great, but how about a reasonable starting point for new people?

It's almost like that is specifically the purpose of book covers, to allow us to judge their contents so we don't have to read every book to find the one we want to read
