I love this book so much. I’ve been yearning for a truly epic story, and I finally found it. Found family, coming-of-age, and chosen one—these are my favorite tropes, and they’re all here. I absolutely love the characters and can’t get enough of Corban and Kastell. This series is so getting binged!

Finished. I feel empty, angry, sad, but also happy. I'm sitting here with a smile on my face because I just finished one of the best books I've ever read. This book is perfect. The ending is perfect. And it will stay in my heart forever. Thank you @richardswanauthor.bsky.social for this journey.

Sadly I don't enjoy this book that much. I really loved the beginning of it, also the world is amazing and the main character is interesting. The book lacks a clear thread, and epic and emotional moments were ruined by pointless dialogue.
