I don't know what weather phenomenon causes this, but it sure was pretty!

This year's Space Bound hosted by @spacecanada.bsky.social was held at one of my favourite spots in Ottawa, the Museum of Nature! It was awesome getting to hear from so many different advocates for Space, innovation, and exploration! Sic Itur Ad Astra!

You know when your cat is being weird, like they can see something you can't? That was Mara tonight!

Made this little AT-AT for my desk at work using a 3D card print. Super fun way to spend an hour this weekend!

Did you know there's a beaver at NDHQ?!?!?!?! In "Today I learned", I discovered this happy creature building a dam at the heart of Carling Campus! Just. Look. Brought me immense joy today!

The moon rising as we made altitude was really beautiful tonight on my return flight!

The Canadian Geese have a bit of competition. The Deer camouflage is on point, almost tripped over these three beautiful creatures!

It was an incredible two days at the #WPS25 conference. There were some poignant, challenging panels, amazing keynote speakers, and a lot of learning. Very grateful to have been able to participate in this commemoration of the 25th anniversary of UNSCR 1325

Feeling very safe at work, under the watchful eyes of CANGOSCOM. This time of the year the babies are all grown up and the adults are much more comfortable around people.

Oh my goodness, there was a Health and Wellness Fair at work today and there were therapy dogs Daisy and Buddy for giving pets! They're both good doggos. Definitely a great day!!!

I stood up for a moment and this furry little thief took over my spot; and she knew what she was doing, too. Absolutely adorable little thief

When I went out to pick the kids fresh raspberries for their lunches the loveliest little bee was just coated in pollen having a little rest still on the sunflower. It brought me joy

I know it's October, I'm sure the bee knows it's October, but it's also 30⁰ and there's still pollen to collect!

Spent the day helping to build the future of the Defense Space Enterprise!

How lucky am I to work at a place as beautiful as this? There's a pond at the heart of Carling Campus, and the Afghanistan War Memorial is on the other side of the pond.

It's officially fall at NDHQ! CANGOSCOM is preparing to move to their winter operating locations and nature is painting the leaves some pretty brilliant colours! This scene brought me a lot of joy on my walk to work this morning!

Anytime someone leaves the linen closet door open, Mara somehow just *knows* and immediately goes to take a nap.

Discovered on Friday afternoon that I'd been out of dress *all day*.

It's a beautiful day for the #ArmyRun2025!!! While an injury kept me from running this year, it was powerful to see the runners step off the start line on this chilly Sunday morning!

CANGOSCOM is gearing up to head South for their winter exercises, and I'm going to miss them! Caught up with this member having a moment in the chilly morning this week just looking majestic as anything.

It's been chilly in the mornings when I go to pick raspberries for the kids' lunches and I've been finding some fuzzy buzzies huddled on the plants, trying to stay dry under the leaves until it's warm enough to search for pollen

Back to school means making more lunches; I'm particularly proud of this one!

I stood up for a moment. A single moment.
