for my art residency at Le Cabaoui, Malmousque, Marseille (March 2025)
Me (Mae Lubetkin) in a wetsuit putting fins on, sitting on the edge of a rock, partly in the sea. Seawall composed of bricks made from different sizes and shapes, crashing waves from the sea hit the wall. Steep rocky cliff-face cloaked in metal mesh to keep pieces from falling, a singular pipe crosscuts the cliff going downward. Seawater lightly crashing upon rocky limestone boulders, a long metal drainage pipe crosscuts the rocks, the pipe is lined with red-yellow bricks.

After some years reflecting on human/data/ocean entanglements, I wrote More-than-Data last month - an essay describing my new concept and method.
