Not true. As a Pole I can say that the sentiment in the overall popularion has changed ever so slightly. Still the vast majority supports Ukraine and Ukrainians here and in their motherland. No visible tensions. The tensions are made up by the news outlets

A former Speaker of the Rada, Ukraine's parliament, has been shot dead in Lviv.

Andriy Parubiy was gunned down by a killer disguised as a fast-food delivery driver.

Parubiy was an activist arrested by the USSR pre Independence and was a prominent figure in the Maidan protests.

eurostat also confirms this. Meaning that NOT ONLY ethical and moral reasons to help Ukrainians, now it is also an economic one. As a Pole I was always proUkrainian, even if it would mean giving up on some of the wealth of our country. Friendship among nations

Any "guarantee" that is not part of a war plan against Russia and a willingness to endure the hardships of war until that victory is achieved is no guarantee but empty talk.
