Keep in mind, this is a bougie school by my standards. Seems like the kids get up to more dramatic trouble than the school we were zoned to. I think the guy with the backpack was probably just someone who may be unhoused, who wandered onto school grounds. But that could be unpredictable.

They had a stabbing at his school toward the beginning of the year. But I don’t want someone showing up at his school with a machete in their backpack, unless it’s Danny Trejo giving a talk to my kiddo’s theatre class. And then I’d really expect that Danny would have a machete valet, not a backpack.
