I find him so repugnant and I always have. It blows my mind that he has won a third majority. he Is unfortunately so good at manipulating perceptions. I don’t think the average Ontarian understands how much damage he has done to our everyday lives.

I can’t read it without signing up but this isn’t new. I lived in a sorority house on lowther 25 years ago and it was amazing. Rent was so cheap. They could never fill their houses with students even then because uoft has always been a commuter school.

Yes. It tastes really good. Especially sprinkled with maldon salt. It’s kind of tangy/sour. If you do it, make sure to cover the mixer with a towel. I thought my mixer cover would be enough but it wasn’t! Once the butter forms the buttermilk splatters everywhere!

That sucks!! I hope you feel better soon. I made cultured butter last weekend for fun. It was a lengthy process. Will not be doing it again soon. But now I have buttermilk and have to decide if I’ll make ricotta or use it to bake something…

My son also voted in his first federal election and the polling station was his old daycare! Full circle moment.

Ostensibly they are all anti trump, which makes his tweet even more incomprehensible. To quote Gino D’Acampmo, “if my grandmother had wheels, she would have been a bike. It makes no sense what you say, it’s a different recipe…” like what is he even talking about 😂

I don’t have a picture but this reminds that my most Canadian thing is the memory of all my high school and university jobs: Harvey’s, Canadian Tire, Famous Players, Beaver Lumber, Woolco Portrait Studio, and Le Chateau

Andy Tagaki and Reagan McSwain wrote this excellent article today about construction noise on the Ontario line. Thank you to @thestar.com for covering it!

‘I don’t know where to hide’: Noise from round-the-clock work on the Ontario Line leaves nearby residents sleepless and afraid — and there’s no end in sight
People living near the site of a new Ontario Line station at Queen and Spadina have complained to Metrolinx about the disruption caused by construction.

This book is doing my head in. I can tell it’s probably good but because there are 28 books that came before it I have zero context and keep checking the wiki but there are 1000 characters and I’m so confused. Have you read any of the others?

Also one time my son left his phone in an airport limo and the driver found it and the company got it back to us. I have a good feeling for you.

one time I lost my wallet on a night out and a business man found it and left it at his hotel and called me to tell me. I got it back with everything even the cash! I also had my wallet stolen out of my purse on a city bus so it’s really luck of the draw where humanity is concerned. 🤞🏼🤞🏼for you

I get what you’re trying to say but this performance is a literal masterpiece from a musical genius. Even when he was sick at the end of his life, Elvis never lost his voice. It’s not a good comparison.

Kate Burton’s narration of Anne of green gables put me to sleep for months. Also a time travellers guide to medieval England by Ian Mortimer. The narration is not as soft but monotonous enough for sleep. I feel your pain Julie. I’m also looking for a new sleepy time book…
