Wish me luck my friends. Gonna try to turn these end of season green tomatoes into a chutney to serve with the grilled pork tenderloin later this evening. Does #winesky have suggestions for a wine I should search the cellar for?

So the power went out just before I went to make coffee this morning. All is well though; with a battery powered lamp and an extension cord to the @fordmotorsofficial.bsky.social #fordlightning in the garage, I’m good to start another day. #cheers

This little maple was planted in this spot in March of 2020. In spite of the uncertainty at the time, we planted a tree. It continues to be a symbol of hope for me and this morning, it truly is showing off some color so I am sharing a bit of my hope with you.

When the good guys from #Detroit sweep that team from “the land”, I open a good bottle of wine with my grilled burgers from #flannerybeef. I’m only drinking half the bottle today @yountvillewjs.bsky.social and saving half for tomorrow…if I can resist the second half…

I grilled spatchcocked chickens yesterday and ate them w family and some great #chardonay . This morning I took a walk and reflected on the sacrifice of so many on our behalf. I’m now enjoying some water therapy before @tigers.bsky.social baseball. Leftover chicken later; maybe #PinotNoir ? #winesky
