People responsible for dumping the cost of cleanup on the public:
Don and David Taylor
Stephen Harper - Recover Inc & Azimuth Capital
Jay Westman - Jayman Homes
Harvey & Jeremy Thal - Royop
Marc Staniloff - Superior Lodging
Terry & Donald Richardson - Crowfoot Wine & Spirits
I spent months (and thousands of The Narwhal's dollars) digging into who actually owns the many small companies which the Alberta Energy Regulator says aren't paying their orphan well levies or minimum cleanup quotas. Some of the names might surprise you. #ableg thenarwhal.ca/alberta-oilp...

Bridge Healing is a transitional housing program that supports unhoused individuals discharged from Edmonton emergency departments.

The government’s own evaluation shows it works. It saves money. It saves lives.

And it’s just been cut by the UCP.

Another cruel, shortsighted cut that hurts many.

Many people chase wealth, status, and achievement because progress is easy to measure.

They fail to realize that the gains that count the most are the hardest to count.

Real growth is building character—striving to improve in generosity, integrity, humility, fairness, courage, or wisdom.

I don't want your sadness. I want your rage. I want your action.

When MAGA got motivated, they rioted in the Capitol.

If you're not, at minimum, prepared to match that rage, you're gonna get your asses kicked.

5,039 people.

That’s close to the same population as Vegreville. Edmonton has one Vegreville worth of people living on our streets, and the Provincial government’s plans to help (navigation centre, etc) have made no positive difference. Nothing but villainizing people trying to survive. Shameful.
There is A LOT going on in Alberta politics right now.

But this needs to be known.

Data just released this week shows that Edmonton has the highest number of folks experiencing homelessness we’ve ever had.

5,039.
