Every one of our time traveling ensembles is an act of audacity, love, and perseverance. I'm going to wear the absolute Dickens out of them. Sometimes, even to travel to the 1860s to scandalise Charles Dickens himself. I am shameless, after all.

My darlings, I had an absolutely smashing time at @seattlein2025.org with @teagrandarbiter.bsky.social, but perhaps the most spectacular moment was winning Best in Show for Workmanship at the Masquerade. I'm still stunned!

Sewing this was indeed an epic adventure, and just like the best quests, having a merry band of friends made everything possible.

The dress itself is a red orange but the cape sleeves are shaped to look like wings in the same range of colours as the front of the dress.
