Victims need understanding ..where there is disclosure.. respect.. trauma informed...understanding barriers in culture/language... No prejudice.... victim blaming.... minimising...and most of all...trauma informed practice with specialists if required.

"Trauma informed Practice with Survivors": Do no harm...best interest of survivor...trauma informed approach by all who assist and support survivors...respect boundaries.. when victims cannot recall, there survival mode was to repress information.. listening skills...hope this helps someone....💚
