Exactly, when it’s too hot you increase rates to slow down consumption with higher interest rates. The reality is the economy is slowing so they’ll probably decrease once the tariffs go into effect because prices will sky rocket so we will need cheaper credit to buy goods.

How does it make sense that cutting support & health coverage for poor people = higher GDP? Low/Middle income families drive the economy so taking $ out of their pockets literally decreases demand, and growth. It’s such a bullshit mindset not based on logic.

I jokingly say that if I showed pictures of everyone I meet with people would think I was a big deal. But I don’t ever think about taking pics, let alone posting them, when I’m in a good conversation. I tend to influence the influencers as a mentor or advisor. That’s the role I prefer but who knows.
