Time to make a decent shake of getting rid of the festive paunch. I've been out a few times since the New Year but today I started getting back into my usual training regime. Sun was out so I have no excuse for the state of my bike. It's not time for its annual wash yet, so it will stay mucky.

Our Smudge is currently in the box that something arrived in today.

I enquired of my daughter the other day if my oldest remaining T-Shirt still existed. Certainly does, says she. Hard to tell now but it was once black and it once fit me. At 10 she was using it as a nightie and she has had it ever since. We had to fumigate it first though.

A few years ago I placed this feeder in a hedgerow in fields where I walk the dogs. There aren't any gardens anywhere nearby, so I like to think I'm helping a little. It gets filled daily as, dependent upon what was grown in the fields around it, there isn't much else this time of year.

What do we do to take the news away from all these bad actors?

I am a positive person but sometimes I have to wonder.

Every year I make a calendar for Mrs Ogre that has various hopelessly amateur Gimped images of family members and pets placed into well known artworks or, as is the case this year, album covers. This is a PNG of Murray before it was placed on the album artwork. Any guesses as to the album?

Nope, still not made my mind up yet but here's Dougal when he was a pup. Looking at this, you wouldn't think he chases Murray (the snow dog on previous post,) around the fields but that he does.

I'm still pondering upon whether I am going to just be a viewer on here or actually post anything. I haven't really used social media before. And I'm lazy. Anyway, here's a moody picture whilst I make my mind up.
