The left will be Black and brown people, queer people, trans people, immigrants, women, and other
groups that are already under attack.

The stereotypes and assumptions these groups will face will increase violence again these communities.

We already see HBCU’s facing bomb threats and lockdowns.

The extremists on the far right have used Kirk’s death to call for a “war” against “woke, radical leftists”…but how do they target the “left”?

By using the stereotypes and assumptions media has let play out for years.

They are going to target minoritized groups.

We spend more on criminalizing homelessness than we do solving and providing housing.

We don’t care about people, we are about a police state.

Veterans, survivors of domestic violence, children, older adults. THIS is who we are saying don’t deserve human dignity.

Texas state legislators make $7,200 a year.

Let that sink in.

There are only FOUR states where you can make less than $20/hr and afford a 2-bedroom apartment.

In 18 States you need $30/hr or more to afford a 2-bedroom.

Wages are too low, rents are too damn high.

In the face of attacks like this week's Supreme Court decision, Planned Parenthood health center providers and staff boldly and unapologetically show up every day to provide essential health care to more than 2 million patients across the country each year. #ImForPP

McGowan is ten toes DOWN for passing a gun safety bill that we deserve…not some watered down compromise because we elected anti-gun safety leadership.

I LOVE TO SEE IT.

I caught the Blue Wave 🌊 at Hope High School this afternoon ✨

Students in this 12th grade English class are writing newspaper articles on the cost of eggs, renting, homelessness, and MLL
students and interviewed me for my thoughts.

The questions were HARD HITTING ✨

215-214…This passed because a few democrats refused to cede their power and died in office, leaving critical seats open during this fight.

Their inability to prioritize people over power could be what removes critical healthcare coverage from millions of Americans.

A damn shame.

The bosses at Butler Hospital threatened to take away the healthcare of these workers by the 5/31…THIS IS A POWER IMBALANCE.

When one group can take away your livelihood and access to life saving resources when you speak up for your rights we should all be activated ✊🏾
