So, Farage who’d previously failed 7 times to be an MP, decided that in Clacton he’d rely on his old Brexit friends - cheating (and racism) - to get him his win.
With millions now pouring into Reform, it’s beyond time to properly investigate this grubby little man

This statement appears to be untrue for 95-99% of British people convicted and imprisoned abroad
I would be interested to see the statistics per country per year behind this statement

There were over 1000 deprivation of citizenship orders since 2010. (Commons Library) so the current pattern would seem to be the inverse of that claimed by the Opposition: there seems to be much more prevalence of removal from UK than to the UK

Deprivation of British citizenship and withdrawal of passports
In the 21st century there has been a revived use of government powers to deprive people of their British citizenship and withhold UK passports, particularly as a counter-terrorism measure.

If the statement meant: we sometimes take people bsck, at a rate of 10-20 people a year out of a couple of thousand, then it would become accurate, but it would then not carry the intended misleading inference that others should do what we already do

Evidence of a rate of return to the UK of prisoners of < 1% while in prison. It is difficult to find accurate data post-sentence. There seems to be zero chance it could be anything like as high as 3-5% and it is likely to be close to 1% or below

Prisoners Abroad were supporting 1370 British people in prisons abroad in 2024-25, including 491 new cases in 2024-25.

11 prisoners were transferred to the UK in the year, and an aggregate of < 150 in the last 8 years: average 15-20 per year.

Today is one of those days I am so grateful we have Sir Keir Starmer as our PM.

He is leading the world in supporting Ukraine.

A tough scenario for all involved and I can think of no one better right now to be our leader.

I think this is a petition many of you can get behind.

It's similar to my petition earlier this year, but focuses on a specific aspect of media regulation: Ofcom rules around political news!

It seems people are so busy slagging off the idea of apprenticeships that they’ve failed to read this important detail:

As part of the package, the government will also cover the full cost of apprenticeships for eligible young people under 25 at small and medium-sized businesses

It is now 23 days since the last small boat successfully cross the English Channel.

In the last 4 weeks there have only been 3 boats and 217 people.

This the longest period without any boats since the 8th Jan 2024.

The 28-day average is now by far the lowest seen at this time of year.

Today Labour have launched a skills programme that, among other things, aims for 50k additional young people on apprenticeships over the next few years.

This alone could see youth unemployment drop 5%, never mind the rest of the plans!

Here the PM tells us more, as he meets young people.

Awesome!
