This is my radio & tech based account here on BlueSky, I do have another one, but that is a personal one.

I'm a licenced radio ham, into tech, with my own irc server and currently building a dial-up/phreaking based PBX and BBS (old school techie stuff).
I've played the BBS version of doom 1.0.

Then, with each update or change made, I do the changes I have done on a stable VM, and do the same to the docker image, test it on a docker sandbox and if it remains stable and usable I then switch the old for the new, including any new accounts created and logs since the last update.

Thanks. Basically I use the virtual machines to do experimental stuff like changes that could brick the server if it goes wrong, along with other bits.

The docker versions are compiled at a later date for when I know the servers are stable, then make a stable copy of them once in a while.

Thanks. Basically I'm just trying to have them compiled onto standalone dockers or virtual machines so that they can be tweaked and adjusted without having them offline for too long for maintenance or updating, than can just be migrated to a newer version by doing a simple migration when required.

I'm in the process of setting one up, already got the bare bones of my own IRC set up. Just need tweaking before sticking it on docker.

Nice one, as I knew your handle on here was familiar from the discord channel.

I've been an orc member since the beginning. I still have my original number from when they did the sip lines.

Same with hamshack hotline.

Sweet. I have a couple of pistar mmdvm's, although one is currently not working as I am having difficulty programming it at present.

Looking to also attach a lilygo t-beam to a pi zero and a baofeng uv5R, do a packet node/TC²bbs node.

I'm. Just getting started with the paging side of things.

Looking into the kit, how it works, the coding required, etc.

Spotted some nice looking 70cm based pagers on eBay, but couldn't see the ric/rid numbers, which could cause an issue if bought for the sole use for POCSAG/Dapnet paging.
