I do science stuff and have two orange kittens and am blessed with an amazing partner in life. Much love and worship of the Sonoran desert ecosystem and culture of the Tucson area. Now and then we randomly explore Arizona with our Jeep.
Honor fits well with courage and bravery.

I spent some time at Palmer Station, Antarctica and occasionally cruise ships would visit in the summer.
Highly recommend. You would love it.

Someone let Elon know that secondary genetic traits such as skin pigmentation are of no concern when it comes to the survival of our species on Earth. But the lack of mental ability that forms the mind of the racist is a major concern. It seems that racism indicates inferior mental ability.

All of these events are such a horrible hellscape of humanity. That we as Americans have these concerns is pretty surreal.

Otherization being a thing that is as foundational as it is frequent in every enunciation.

Yep, so true, but I do not let it frustrate me because there are always some good students who actually want to learn. Being a brutal grader, without sympathy, is now key to the survival of civilization.

Not watching cable "news" this past year has been amazing and healthy. I just do my watching when walking outside. Thanks though to those who do watch that stuff and post about it here. Woof... I could not do it but good to know.
Suns out ! Sky is brilliant blue . Off I go.

I had a solitary Leopard Seal encounter off of Palmer Station. I was out in a zodiac and it was eating another seal alive on an ice flow. A massive big male. I shut of the motor and drifted close and spent some time. Lots of eye contact. This was an extremely intelligent creature.

Kudos to the headline writer here for transitioning from politics to pie in the instant it takes to read a single word. Pumpkin !

Thanks for posting. Super nice capture from the Aqua satellite.

I have hope for our species to emerge from this hangover of ignorance. You know "one planet and one people". Homo sapiens from Earth. A future of Star Trek. But sometimes whew...I have to really temper that feeling like wondering what this human is hoping for ?

He does not have the courage to confront anything. The well being of the "little people" has nothing to do with his steady income and health care that said little people pay for.

Sorry Satan. Not Today. I have a family to feed and it is not wise to fall for the notion that "I have a chance" of winning. If you were a wise and intelligent source of information you would not promote gambling but rather express the absurd odds of any ROI from playing the lotto.

Carl Sagan let us know a lot about the evolution of human intelligence. That ancient reptilian hindbrain and the newer thoughtful frontal cortex. We are seeing the rearing of the reptilian hindbrain in its full glory in the facets of world events. For the hindbrain fear is food.

You are an amazing American public servant Senator Sanders.
Thankyou for being what you have had to become.
