So, I changed my mind. I have decided to permanently delete my Twitter account. When I said I was done with the place, now I mean it. After the whole "online safety" thing and requiring a picture of my ID or myself just to see types of content, I put my foot down and decided to take my leave.

I don't post on Bluesky as often, and while I do come back to Twitter on occasion to check a few things out, I still don't do anything there.

I may not engage with Bluesky much, and I do feel lonely sometimes, I still prefer it over the gigantic shit hole it's based on.

Bluesky has hit 38M monthly users, up 8M since March

Once adding 5M users per month, it’s now slowed to 1.6M. A 60% drop

But post volume is falling—more users, less activity

It risks becoming a ghost town with a loyal but shrinking core

I finally did the thing! I deleted my Twitter account! I had some good and bad memories there. But even if Elon leaves, it could be years (or never) before Twitter feels like a safe place again. I can't cling to the past! I must keep moving forward!
