I fall off the Internet pretty regularly but I am still here! I've been painting all sorts including space dwarves, traitor marines and solar auxilia. Perhaps I'll actually post about my experiences playing them at some point haha!

I've had a lovely week off filled with hobbying and quality time with my girlfriend, which has felt like such a long time in the best way. Back to work tomorrow and back to something like a routine! Here are some of the Sons of Horus I painted up in anticipation for 3rd edition. #warhammercommunity
Ashurhaddon the First Reaver and a Sons of Horus Herald. They are based to match the Cthonian deserts, the texture paint is still drying. A Sons of Horus Arquitor Bombard, it's tracks covered with dried on desert sand. A small detachment of Sons of Horus support squads flanking an Arquitor Bombard. They are accompanied by some of the Solar Auxila from the Cthonian Headhunters. A squad of Sons of Horus Tactical marines still work in progress. They are lacking completed bases.

In an attempt to distract myself from the pain of being a trans person in the UK at the moment, I cracked on with my Votann this weekend. Painted up the Yaegirs kill team and the Hearthguard who will soon accompany my Kahl #warhammercommunity
A unit of Hernkyn Yaegies of the Trans-Hyperion Alliance, they cover their orange armour with thick grey long coats. A mighty unit of Hearthguard armed with Concussion Gauntlets and Plasma. Their leader orders the advance using her hammer, which glows standing ready to crush their enemies.

On abit of a whim I've decided to start painting up my old Leagues of Votann army box, which has gone unfinished since I managed to nab one quite some time ago. They're a nice change of pace from the detail heavy marines and orks. And any excuse to pain orange is a good one! #warhammercommunity

I've had a surge of hobby motivation this evening and managed to paint up Tylos Rubio to accompany the veterans. He should provide a might melee and psychic threat to my army.

I've recently been working on the whopping Rogal Dorn tank for my partner's Crusade force. This is my first proper attempt at prominent camouflage patterns and I'm very happy with how it's come out. #warhammercommunity

Played another cracking game of MESBG today. This time as the breaking of the fellowship. Despite his best attempts at soloing the entire army, Aragorn couldn't clutch the victory by the end #warhammercommunity
Half the remaining members of the fellowship (Aragorn, Boromir, Gimli and Merry) battle a contingent of warriors of Gondor to secure a vital bridge across Osgiliath.

How has the #warhammercommunity been enjoying the new AoS edition? I had great fun with the few games I've played but I admit I haven't found much motivation recently to go back. The models however will always be some of the best GW makes!

With the announcement of the 30 Christmas detachments coming to 40k. What is on everyone's wishlist? Mine would be a combined arms detachment for Tau, let's see how the empire fights alongside its allies. #warhammercommunity

I've been getting the #Necromunda itch again so I painted up a test ganger for an upcoming Orlock gang. Maybe they'll actually hit the table one day? :P

I don't just hop online to tell you all how great your minis are (though they are really are!) I do in fact paint my own too. At the moment I have been painting up my Ultramarines and Mechanicum, and dabbling in some kill team Vespids. Hopefully I'll get a few more done soon :) #warhammercommunity
