Yuanxin, the 6 year old kidnapped by ICE earlier this week, has been located in the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
This is also where they sent Emmanuel Garcia, the 15 year old autistic boy who went missing in Texas.
It took his mother 50 days to get him back.

The scariest part of making cranberry sauce is when it turns into a pink froth and I have to frantically adjust the heat before it escapes the pot and comes for me.

Writing this piece has also made me realise that we have little to no idea where these NVIDIA GPUs are going, and the amount of them sold (6 million) doesn't make sense based on any measure of actual data centers in progress, let alone ones that are energised. This whole industry feels cursed.

If an ICE vehicle has incorrect plates, maybe the vehicle should automatically be towed? Maybe there could also be legislation that causes a person to lose their driver's license if they're driving a vehicle with plates that have been intentionally switched and their insurance voided?

I didnt realize it wasnt obvious until a couple DMs, but folks who need mutual aid to survive ask for gift cards or wishlist items bc:
- low chance of affecting benefits negatively
- can get wants & needs without pulling from desperate survival fund
