Alien hieroglyphs would probably be easier. As for the cover, redraw it once you finish the story. Otherwise it's easy to get the curse of perfection. And trap yourself in an endless loop.

Even with all the references, it's still a struggle. Having a fried mind, probably doesn't help to learn it. 😂

For me backgrounds are far easier, because drawing characters takes me a while.
