Love how AI means that there are now medical websites that discuss health stats in video games as though they're real:

Oh cool, @moreperfectunion.bsky.social, who wrote this piece in Fortune along with the CEO of Chobani?

If you can, it's time to start feeding your hope more than you feed your fear.

Dang.

"future emergencies, whether they’re earthquakes, floods, droughts, or storms. They’re going to come and they’re going to be more urgent and prolonged.

Governments will not be able to respond on the scale or speed that is needed for these emergencies"

Thursday 1 May is International Workers' Day, and many are participating in a General Strike.

No housework. No shopping. No banking. No school. No work. Strike everywhere.

Remember: Friday, February 28 we are boycotting major corporations.

If you absolutely must buy something Friday, please support small businesses, preferably local.

Bonus points if you use cash, so the business doesn't lose part of the purchase amount to credit card companies.

Thinking of it for no reason in particular *whistles casually*

I had to look these up to make sure they weren't spoofs.

I couldn't find the Phil Collins biopic, but the Mr Peanut robot takeover and monkey Robbie Williams appear to be real.

Then there's Kendrick Lamar starring in the "Lego Pharrell Williams biopic" discussingfilm.net/2024/09/11/p...

The NYT knows readership and subscriptions will go up if Trump wins. I genuinely believe there are several higher-ups there who care more about that than about fascism gripping the country.

I literally think this is the primary driver behind NYT going full fascist:

Someone said that these coupled with the "showering every day isn't necessary" article suggest we're being prepped for super expensive water bills thanks to privatization, and that... sounds logical.

Also/alternatively: marketing to people who can no longer afford homes, but can afford deodorant?

Happened upon this gem while looking for recipes; probably my favorite AI website sighting yet
