I love this photo. It evokes so much: the hard lives lived by ponies and pit men, the history of the coal industry, the devastation left by improperly planned mine closures and failure to support communities, the end of an era.

From the start of March,one only had to watch TV, have a brain cell, an iota of a sense of urgency, a scintilla of compassion, + a willingness to try to understand what medics were going through, to know that Johnson & co were far, far too slow, + that he was leading us to disaster.

Sounds a productive weekend, and it’s still barely Sunday 💪!

Priorities, though - I’d put organising another trip way ahead of packing a sock (or even packing at all!) 😆

I’m looking forward to listening!
