Friends near and far, please contact your Senators and demand they take this awful provision out of the budget bill! Public lands belong to every citizen of the U.S. and truly are What Makes America Great.

Congress is making more than 250 million acres of public lands available for sale.
The Senate reconciliation package is a disturbing giveaway that will mandate the “disposal” of public lands across the western United States.

Animas Biological Studies recently deployed 8 GPS transmitters on Pinyon Jays in s. New Mexico. This work will help us understand the extent of the birds’ seasonal movements and habitat use and develop management recommendations in this part of their range.

Supporting public lands yesterday in Durango, CO. It was cold, windy, and snowy, and still people showed up (many more than this pic shows).
Public lands belong to us all and they require skilled and knowledgeable professionals to manage for many uses.

So many people are in desperate need of self-regulation techniques right now. I am so grateful for the tools I’ve learned as a Yoga Therapist for my own self-care, and I feel called to offer virtual opportunities to help people cope and develop resilience. Who out there would be interested in this?

Looks like congressional republicans are treating the Constitution like they do the Bible. They cherry-pick and support the parts that align with their ideology and ignore the rest. Let’s hope the courts uphold the Constitution or we are all in for a world of hurt.
