My Mom has checkups every year and this past year we were concerned with her forgetting and being a bit confused so I went with her and brought it up. Doc agreed that it should be checked and to get a baseline. For the first time she did that test and is getting an mri.

I expect more being alone together living situations or it becoming more common for people to golden girls it. Basically older people's version of getting roommates who watch out and care for each other to varying degrees.

I automatically half the hours on most of my games because of this. Example. I went to play Enshrouded yesterday and realized it was on pause from the last time I played 2 days before.

Security people will use hand signals to communicate with each other because in events like this you can't always hear well. Its pretty chill when they do it unless you're looking for it. Its not supposed to be obvious. My ex did this type of work.

My Dad has always carried a Swiss army knife. He's 80. I asked why and he said hes had one since he was a boy because of scouts. Hands down the scissors were used the most. Tear a nail? No problem Dad's knife. I carry one too now. Scissors are still the most useful.

The Changling. 1980. With George C Scott. Rented this for my 12th, grade 7 birthday party and it was talked about for years. Never been more frightened by a ball bouncing down the stairs. No sex and no gore. Only thing violent is a drowning but I'd say its pretty mild. Just creepy scary

We'd also literally just go to friends houses and knock on the door. You just knew who was cool to show up for a hangout and what good times were. I remember just driving around with friends to other friends places just to see what was going on

For teens and younger there were places where people just hung out in general like malls, corner stores, parks and you just sorta knew when the best times were to find people. As kids you'd just look for all the bikes of your friends and just go to that house and join in

You had to call everyone on the landline and say 'is so and so there please?' Then repeat for multiple people and call back if someone needed a different time. As a whole people kept to plans more because once people left their house there was no way to contact and change.

Not sure how old you are but if your perimenopause age it could be hormone related as well. Among other symptoms I had super poor muscle recovery and soreness that lasted longer then typical recovery. It greatly improves after I started hrt. When I was off them for a few weeks it came back

Canadian here. Never experienced anything like this. It's all sorts of products. Yesterday my boyfriend asked if I could help source a Cdn alternative to his favorite US deodorant. I've also heard people saying 'US last'. So only if there is no alternative globally will we buy US

At the store the other day I was looking at labels on a some canned goods and this lady said 'Excuse me that one isn't good, Ive looked at them all' and proceeded to point out all the CDN ones to me and someone else who joined. It was awesome

I've been planting habitat here in Canada in my yard and surrounding area. Last year I saw way more than years before so it's good to hear that it may be a trend.

I dislike sweets in the morning and if I want a good day I have to have protein. Mix in some carb and I'm good to go for hours. Right now I have a couple of eggs and something potato or a Jamaica patty. I've found the patty has the right ratio that keeps me going until the afternoon.
