I grew up something like that as well, my Mom even driving to me to the point that I broke off ties for quite a few years. Only recently have I reconnected with her after she realized how that just pushed myself and my brothers away with how far she took her practices.

Well $700 later and my car repairs are done. Thankfully with how many errands I run for my parents and my grandma they are offering to help out with that.
