some baseball, some basketball, occasionally hockey and football. And music. I’ve worked in and around baseball for 35 years. Also: basset hounds
Up 3 runs these Dodgers fans aren’t quite ready to get too excited.

Day 12 of some good records: please check out-
"Whatcha See is What You Get" by the Dramatics. This song is about the best example of 70's soul music as you can listen to. Thanks- have a good night everyone.

Day 11 of some good records. From 1989: "Sowing the Seeds of Love"- Tears for Fears. To me this is the best Beatle-ish song I've heard. The sheet variety of instruments throughout the mix is very cool. Thanks- have a good night everyone.

Day 10 of some good records: this one is too obvious but there's a reason that "Layla" won the KRTH 101 Firecracker 300 each year 😁. No matter where you listen in passing, it's hard to turn away. Have a good.night everyone.

Day 9 of some good records: "Glad I'm Not in Love" from the 1st Rank and File album. Available streaming on "The Slash Years" - awesome Cowpunk music. A very unique sound, well worth a listen or 100. Have a good night everyone and take care.

Day 7 of some good records: I think I saw the Greg Kihn Band more than any other artist. Best show: Oroville (CA) High School gym with about 200 others circa 1981. My favorite GK song is still "Madison Avenue Man" from Greg Kihn Again. Check it out and have a good night.

Day 6 of some good records:."Islands in the Stream"- yes that song! I'm not even sure where I heard this recent cover version but it's great/sweet (not saccarin). It's by Jane's Party out of Toronto and it's sooo good. Check it out and have a good night.

Day 5 of some good records: the first album by The Subdudes is a such a deep pleasure all the way through but listen to "Need Somebody" and you'll be happy. Then try the 1st track "Any Cure" and go from there. Have a good day everyone.

Day 3 of some good records, here's the 1985 Lone Justice single "Ways to Be Wicked". A really good song in itself but the non-LP B side "Cactus Rose" is a great example of what the band started out as. Check it out.

Day 2 of some good records, let's go with "Staying out Late with Beat Rodeo" by Beat Rodeo. Not streaming and hard to find for sure. Excellent 1980's Power Pop! Including this really fun song "Just Friends" Enjoy (and try to find the album). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDVjNgdk7d8

These are interesting times. So it's time to note some music that should make people happy. Here is the 1975 MTB album "Searching for a Rainbow". This has the most common live track "Can't You See" among some really high level, unique, playing and sound. Next best track "Fire on the Mountain". Enjoy

My friends have not made it far into the Super Bowl pregame, let’s say.

This is my friend Lucille. She’s an 8 year old basset. She told me she’d watch the Super Bowl with me tomorrow since no one else in the house cares. She snores loudly, and a lot. Might need to turn the volume up on the tv a tad.

Where: The Pearl, Las Vegas
Ticket start time 8, real start time 9
Tight show running about 80 minutes. Hits were played, and played well. No extraneous jamming
Best: Remedy
Part of the night when the band was in a serious groove: halfway through Jealous Again.

I have this on LP and CD- it’s out of print and not streaming at any platform. Not as good as his 1st two, but what is? Great, great music- search it out.
