The really good one we had in the neighborhood closed last year (owner died ☹️). I get my nice leather boots resoled and fixed annually. I’ve used Gus Shoe Repair on Clark in LP with good results. I’ve also used Uncle Hans on Southport, but didn’t love them. That was a while ago though!

I’ll make sure we add you into any additional attempts! Feel like no one wants to take accountability (is it the office of safety? health and wellness? the transportation folks?) Because we don’t go for safe routes to school money, it’s hard to pin someone or a dept down. It’s like no one wants it.

Sooo angry and heartbroken about this. Rebecca and I have been on countless meetings trying to just find out who at CPS
to talk to because CDOT can’t even get someone at CPS to work with them! These kids deserve so much better. 💗
