I completely agree with you, it's powerful and kinda hateful. But I don't see the deck going into a 4. Maybe there should be more layers than just 1 to 5.

I also have a Kalamax that I can see it being a 4 but it's far from a 5. But in the tier list a 4 feels so close to the 5.

I agree it may be too much for a 2, but I can see it being fair in a tier 3 deck. The deck is a group slug enchantment deck, it is far away to being powerful.

It's not crucial to the deck, but it's a card that helps dealing with landfall decks and decks that refuses to acknowledge that basic lands exist.

I'm more on the side of: messing up nonbasic lands is fair game. Especially with so many useful lands being printed and some of them even being win cons.

My tier 3 maybe even 2 deck suddenly becomes a 4 just because I have Blood Moon. Some edge cases are not so edgy.
