I’ve been making gumbo for 3 days, and fed dozens of friends- my love language.
Despite the love of feeding my people, nothing surpasses the joy I get from my dog snoring in front of the fireplace. The peace after everyone leaves is magical. #FriarGus #coldfront #nolasky #nolatwitter

Disappointed in the sausage selection at both Rouses and Winn Dixie not having my staple- Richard’s hot krazy kajun. Fortunately I’m a prepper for moments like this and have 2 cases in the freezer.
Time to start a roux.
