A lady, running an in-person scam, got him to buy her a $30k new car (a man who never buy himself, his wife or kids a new car). He was about to write her a check for another $50k when my brother stopped him. Consulted with a lawyer who said itd be more expensive to fight in court than cut our losses

My dad was victim to a few of these romance scams. He too did not believe me. He lost (from what we tracked) $50k. We were still discovering money he sent scammers after moving him into a facility. We were able to cut him off from these people by confiscating his laptop, credit cards & smartphone.

That final 5 minutes? I was ugly crying in front of my colleagues. Needed the entire end credits to help collect myself, but then the end credits song kept making me sob.
