One job of education is to unfold a map of possibilities in front of every student, even if none of them will ultimately follow every path. Limit writing assignments to 1k words and you close down important paths. I mean, everyone who does a phd will need to write substantially longer than that.

It’s a generational opportunity for younger/outsider politicians who never had the chance to be (even indirectly) complicit in this scandal. Not because they’re necessarily good people; just because they’re too young to be involved. Massie is a good example; he clearly smells blood in the water.
