Is it just me or does it feel a bit weird that the National Writing Project is using an AI-generated image in its anti-AI fundraising email campaign?

Thought I'd share this one here. I'm working on a Generative AI + assessment in education resource and had to dig into the digital archives to find this image that is the best thing I know at explaining the difference between formative and summative assessment.

I went to get a glass of water and found a very creative placement of the Elf on the Shelf by my middle schooler.

I achieved my peak in the Tumblr era — getting spotlighted next to you and Austin Kleon. It's been all downhill from there. Still can't say I miss it.

I'm now imagining where Khanmigo goes from here … a sad descent into obscurity?

But maybe Khanmigo and Clippy can become BFFs? I can imagine some cute fan fiction being written about the shenanigans that Clippy and Khanmigo get up to together.
