Two weeks ago, my twin brother, Jamie, passed away. He was 21. Jamie was one of the strongest people I’ve ever known, & had a vitality that no one in a room could match. His grin & cheerful character were infectious, despite all the hardship. He made everyone he ever touched better. And I miss him ❤️

I’d be lying if I said this feeling isn’t intensified by the events of the last few weeks. I posted the news of my brother’s passing a few days ago on X, but it’s worth doing again here—I likely won’t be mentioning it again any time soon. I’ve always found the theme park community a massive respite.

Last ones! Still figuring out the best settings for my new iPhone—but I love how these photos turned out. Never would’ve thought a 5x telephoto could be so powerful. Night photography was hit or miss, but when it works it *works* 😄

One of my favourite things about the party was seeing the park transition from day to night. Tomorrowland was beautiful; we also caught the parade in Frontierland and loved it! (3/?)

We walked over to MK from the Grand Floridian and arrived around 3:15–were let through the turnstiles around 3:40 and in the park by 3:55. Great management of the crowds; I expected much worse. The park was quiet in the 4-7pm included entry period. (2/?)
