Who should we be honoring other than Bing Crosby?

These people are sick and it seems like the horrors will never cease.

But you change one element and …

Anyone know if Natalie or Rachel are still kicking around Spokane?

I’d love to talk to them at length about KEZE Rock 106. I was partial to KZZU the Zoo, myself, but respect.

I just saw a different survey that broke housing down by units built, and by that measure, cities like Boise are still way ahead of us, but they aren’t on this list.

That suggests we might be building smarter, not harder (that 12% drop is the 6th biggest rent decline in the US):

I’ve heard about this blog from a few people, but I hadn’t seen it until just now. Folks are calling it a hit piece, but I think they just made me sound really cool.

Probably cooler than I am.

The quote’s accurate, though, so you be the judge.

Almost like it’s a system designed to only truly benefit the already wealthy plus the smallest few newcomers possible to keep the idea of American prosperity alive and freshen the ol’ gene pool.

And of course we needed immigrants for the human wave of settler colonialism, but that was a while ago.

So the cuts would speed the precarity, but if “upper income seniors” are one shock away from poverty, then there’s gotta be something structurally wrong with the system, right?

So we’re saying the post-war prosperity didn’t even last a full generation beyond the one that created it.

Do I have that right?

It was surreal as hell being at the staging area of Pride and getting the call that Justice Forral had been arrested again, this time as they tried to attend pride with their friends.

Here’s a picture of @merrywanderer.bsky.social and I reporting as we walked through the parade staging area.

Early word is that Justice Forral and Erin Lang, the other person given over a half-dozen felony charges, are both being released.

Seemingly on their own recognizance.

I'm just scanning for names I recognize and already seeing some big charging deviations. Let's play one of these arrests is not like the others:

Me at the @rangemedia.co editorial meeting. Hair mussed. Tie loosened and askew. Three days of stubble. Bags under my eyes.

“What is it going to take,” I ask, voice trembling, “for us to get on THEIR LEVEL?” I slam the page down and leave the room, sobbing.

Imagine having to carry around papers to prove you belong in a place your people lived thousands of years before the people demanding to see them got here.
