Me sorprenden los tiempos de viaje a pesar de que la orografía sea horrible; con una velocidad media inferior a 100 km/h. ¿Hasta qué punto desplazaría al vehículo privado y al autobús?

In the upper right picture you can see a bit of the old train station of Kastrup, identical to the terminus in Dragør.

I completele agree with you about the lack of trees in the city. This is one of the few noticeable differences between Copenhagen and the enclave of Frederiksberg. Way more trees in the latter

Grønne gader, brede stammer og fyldige trækroner er ikke det første, man forbinder med en storby. Ikke desto mindre er det virkeligheden i Frederiksberg Kommune, der har deres helt egen træpolitik.

On the positiv side, Paris also has one of the largest district cooling systems in Europe

Una derivada curiosa de la mayor densidad de población de España y otros países del sur de Europa es que las densidades de demanda de calor son similares a las del norte de Europa a pesar de tener un clima más cálido.

Same cursives in Spain in the 90s 😅

Spain is very anomalous when it comes to trips on foot. These data is old but probably still valid to a certain extent. Check Figure 3. www.researchgate.net/publication/...

Yes, @stephenking.bsky.social was right. It is a breakdown of modal share of trips by employment situation, rather than trip type. Quite confusing though.

I had the same problem a couple of years ago returning to Copenhagen. Besides the compensation, DB paid up to 70 euros for a hotel night (That is the figure I was told back then and I have not been able to find it). They just need the original invoice by mail…

I have not found any research for the whole Spain but this Master thesis addresses the province of Tarragona (upcommons.upc.edu/handle/2117/...) and this article proposes a different schedule pattern for the high speed lines (tecnica-vialibre.es/en/fichartic...)
Repensando la red ferroviaria de la provincia de Tarragona mediante la formulación de un Horario Cadenciado Integrado.

In Sweden, the story is similar. Most of the heat demand and the vast majority of the population is supplied by district heating, whilst individual heat pumps cover most of the remaining share.

Individual heat pumps are increasingly displacing individual fossil supply in those areas where district heating is not feasible.

In Denmark, the highest heat supply form is district heating (+50%), which is increasingly supply by large heat pumps (as of 2023, large heat pumps and electric boilers accounted for 11 000 TJ out of 91 260 TJ of DH).

This graph is misleading, since it seems to show the market share of individual heat pumps, which would be the relevant parameter to look at, but it does not.
Just two cases I know well, Denmark and Sweden.
