I don't like assuming, there might be a reason why its done that way, but I'm skeptical just because of the way blockchain works.

You CAN use a blockchain to do things. You can also use one of those water sipping bird toys for something practical by putting together some hellish Rube Goldberg contraption. But I'm not aware of any good reasons why *one should do it*.

So blockchains are essentially databases, but instead of one copy stored at a central location, it's all distributed all over, and its insert only. So it's a normal database, but more restrictive and *vastly more inefficient*, because updates affect *the whole system*.

Do you know of any blockchain use case where you couldn't get the same thing done vastly more efficiently by say, using client-server architecture where the server is the single source of truth?
