I was much more on their side than the ignorance of W & co.

Pound big rocks into small rocks at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas (dishonorable discharge w/ confinement) or... deploy with the rest of my unit to Iraq.

My wife at the time just had our son 2wks after Iraq invasion in April 2003. Otherwise, I would've gone with #1 option there without hesitation.

Turkish parliament blocked land entry into Iraq from Turkey. We went into Iraq from Kuwait a year later for 1yr deployment... Tikrit, Iraq.

I neglected to mention that I was 1,000% against Iraq invasion and its fabricated justification/build-up.
