Journalists once legitimized Rebel news. We need to look in the mirror and be answerable for how we contributed to last night’s debate debacle. Read @caj defence of them. The Rebel and ilk were the same right wing agitators then as they are today.

If you can access the Globe article please read more on this incredible Canadian patriot. I’m lucky to be working with the folks at the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards and Bob Ezrin is one of this year’s laureates.

Why CBC continues to invite this quisling on its programs is hard to understand. (It keeps happening)

Here is @kevinolearytv in Miami Vice cosplay with a shirt the colour of ringworm boring everyone to death with his ‘insights’ just like he’s doing on CBC radio right now.

Turns out @kevinolearytv will be on CBC Check Up later…

No Canadian cares what this guy (who wears dubious white cringe suits at Mar a Lago) thinks!

Dont normalize the drivel O’Leary spouts. He craves attention like a toddler and he’s not that interesting

Canadians are fuming and fighting back. As a side benefit we’ve also reclaimed the flag from the odious convoy co-opting . Let’s go Canada! 💪💪

An inspiring celebration last night as @YukonUniversity takes its place with Universities Canada. Congratulations to @lesleyabrown and the whole YukonU team for this major milestone and achievement!

This is the rallying call that I've needed to hear since November 6th. From Roxane Gay in today's New York Times www.nytimes.com/2024/11/17/o...

Hundreds of citizens came out today to say yes to refugees in their backyard. The Mayor gave one of of his most impressive speeches to date. IMO. This was leadership, taking a stand in favour of compassion and inclusiveness on behalf of the majority of us.

The mayor and I often disagree, but he is rock solid in his commitment to welcoming newcomers and refugees and that is something I will 100% get behind. Today was important.

If you need a little hope in your step today… the majority of city council came out to support refugees. There has been much misinformation on what a sprung structure is and that is causing fear and opposition in Ottawa.

Today was about solidarity and getting the story straight. The Mayor MarkSutcliffe gave one of his strongest leadership messages to date IMO about supporting this. It was inspiring

Please consider coming to this rally on Sunday 3 PM to show solidarity and also to have your questions answered.
Reminder to tell all of your friends about this rally on Sunday!
Join Refugee 613 on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 3:00 p.m., and show that Ottawa stands with newcomers!

Hundreds of newcomers are currently sleeping in hockey arenas and community centres across Ottawa, as the City’s shelter system struggles to cope.

The Ottawa International Writers Festival was sizzling listening to Carol Off. “At a Loss For Words” is a perfect book to help understand these dark political and social times. The crowd was on its feet applauding when she finished urging us all to find solidarity in the days ahead.
