Fixed it: “Virtude lives high up on his pedestal (a petrol powered pedestal; he likes the VROOM of gasoline over the hum of electric, so, pretends to charge it with an extension cord, don’t tell anyone that)”.

Nobody yet pointed out that it’s a plaster column, and has no wheels, but hey :)
