It’s a very forgiving dough, and boiling them in baking soda works well. I’ve wanted to try food-grade lye, but I also kind don’t want to mess with it. Here’s my first effort (I’ve gotten better at shaping, these are some thicc boys here, but no photos of the recent ones. LOL)
