and this isn't me saying i dislike the game. i like the story and the companions (especially lucanis and emmerich—i'm simple like that), but while the combat animations are absolutely smooth as all hell, the actual execution of combat is... annoying, to say the least. especially against large groups
being a mage in dragon age: the veilguard feels like when you get tangled up in your blankets while half asleep and try to fix them
enemies only target the player, and you end up dodging so much i'm 90% sure rook has permanent brain damage from space warping face first into walls constantly+
