Sometimes it’s nice to remember I live in a rainforest. (A view from my roof in Vancouver.)
A view from the roof of my building. Mostly trees as far as the eye can see — lots of green but with pops of orange and yellow. Overcast grey skies. A couple houses in the corner to show we’re actually in a city, even though you mostly can’t see buildings. In the far distance, high-rises.

Up at Whistler with family this weekend. It’s nice to (very occasionally) get out of my routine and away from my regular toys, though it is perhaps driving home a desire for something new (creatively) (and the lack of regular space for that).
