when Iran retaliated in self defence against this shameless war crime. The zionist entity has proven that it will not stop its genocidal rampage across the Middle East as long as it believes it is immune from consequences. (2/2)

Regardless of the outcome, the fact that the Palestinian people have endured to this point is cause for celebration, and demonstrates that the zionist entity can be beaten.

From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.

It remains to be seen how long the ceasefire will last, as israel has repeatedly demonstrated that it is too single-mindedly genocidal to accept past agreements. Indeed Israel’s assault on Palestine continues even as the agreement is being signed today.

It will likely take years to make a full accounting of israel and the west’s crimes, and the US has made it clear they will oppose any attempt to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Western media still claim that the death toll in Gaza is around 40 thousand, a figure that hasn't moved since the start of 2024. In reality, the means to count the dead was destroyed alongside every hospital. Better estimates put the death toll between 200 and 400 thousand.

With both the US and israel in economic crisis, it seems they cannot afford to continue their genocide unabated, and despite the entire western war machine devoting every effort to eradicating the population of Gaza, they have failed, and the Palestinian people stand defiant.

The fact that the biden administration could have made israel accept the deal at any point before this is proof enough of the blood on their hands, and exposes the soulless cynicism of every liberal who said that western leaders were powerless to stop them.

To finish, this is an excellent book to use as a starting point for genuine revolutionary queer theory that all Marxists should read, in the first place for their own analysis, and for further study. (18/18)

As such, we stress the importance of further study into the subject for a more clear analysis of the position of the queer community in the Marxist movement, for combating homophobic and transphobic trends in the movement, and to recruit more queer comrades. (17/18)

While there are some valid critiques of the book, most come down to 1. the brevity of it (being less than 100 pages) and 2. the lacking of historical and contemporary data for analysis at the time of writing. (16/18)

family; rather, it lies with the entire population." Further, we should criticise all Marxist groups who fail to defend the LGBT+ community, and to "respond to all cases of tyranny, oppression, violence, and abuse, no matter what class is affected", as quoted from Lenin (15/18)

We, as Marxists, should advocate for the absolute abolition of the bourgeois family to make all men and women, queer or straight truly equal, hence transitioning towards "the final responsibility for child-raising and reproduction would no longer lie with the nuclear... (14/18)

feminist, etc. movements. We go on to see the importance of the queer community in the revolutionary movement - through the abolition of the nuclear family. To truly liberate the whole proletariat is to remove the male dominant system of oppression which... (12/18)
