Writing. Teaching. Husbanding. Once hid behind the sofa during an episode of The Incredible Hulk.
This is a top-notch, slow-burn horror. Need more like this.
'A Bram Stoker Award winning novel, The Fisherman is a masterpiece of cosmic horror that contains elements of Lovecraft, Moby Dick and the ghost stories of M.R. James.'

#JohnLangan's The Fisherman is No 16 in The Quietus 25 best pieces of #Horror Fiction of the 21st Century so far

Eden is a fascinating story, has a strong cast, and is well-directed. It's also probably exactly the type of film that should be made for streaming these days.

Got to see Leigh Whannelll's Wolf Man and really lived the first 40 minutes. Also, Christopher Abbott - great as usual.

People who don't walk up escalators with noses glued to their phones are more effective commuters at the very least.

I sometimes wonder how many convictions the average ICE agent has. To have a mindset for that work, they must be a #$@t.

Finally got round to 'The Zone of Interest' and it truly is brilliant and appalling. Great direction with brave choices and excellent performances.

Finished 'A Death in the Family' by Knausgaard. Fascinating experience in so many ways though I guess the next five (gulp) volumes explain properly why the father was such a piece of work. My reading (so far) was more he was just really crap at being a human and knowing so just made things worse.
