Love hearing it! Always great when the DLC actually delivers—definitely not always the case. Excited to get there myself!

Time will tell if Outlaws holds up past its stellar intro, but first blush: this game SLAPS. Excited to see how it unfolds—fingers crossed it keeps the momentum going.

Anyone else playing/ed Outlaws? Thoughts?

I'd been bouncing between games—AC Revelations, Mirage—looking for something to truly pull me in. Mirage felt good but didn't fully hook me. Outlaws, though? I'm already itching to dive back in. It's got "can't wait to play tonight" aura.

Gameplay impressions so far: tight, fun, Ubisoft DNA evident (climbing, stealth—very Assassin's Creed, but lighter). Minor qualm: they’re REALLY loving the R3 button, but thankfully my controller has back paddles, crisis averted. Still, weird choice.

I know Outlaws had a lukewarm launch (bugs, glitches, typical AAA messiness), but grabbing it late means it's likely more polished. Plus, snagging it on sale felt like a scoundrel move itself.

Right out the gate, Outlaws' intro hits HARD. You're not a Jedi, just a scoundrel doing scoundrel things—and I'm 100% here for the Han Solo energy. The characters? Rad. The little companion buddy? Immediately loveable.

No Playdate? No problem. What’s the quirkiest or most underrated handheld you’ve ever owned? Bring on the deep cuts—WonderSwan, Gizmondo, PocketStation, you name it.

For those who have a Playdate: what’s your favorite game so far? And if you could pitch a game for the next Season, what would it be? (I want all the weird ideas.)

I wrote up a little piece on the Playdate—what it is, why it’s different, and why it might be the most lovable oddball handheld ever. (Link at the end if you want the full story.)

Yes. Yes you do.
