Just so we’re clear, I’m not mad at people for hating the prequels. They definitely have their flaws and could have been much better. (Lucas himself admitted he sucks at writing dialogue).

My issue is our culture being so cruel and vicious in its critique of them.

It’s not like people didn’t watch these prequels and over analyze them and make four hour long videos explaining why they killed their dog. They heard their message, and rather than engage with it and apply it to real life, they called it “boring” and “the opposite of what SW should be.”
