Why get locked into a trade deal when the US Supreme Court will end up deciding if the US tariffs are illegal or not? The waiting game is unfortunately the right move as the tables could get flipped on everything.

The current ambassador is not the problem, although he is a problem. Trump is the problem. Until Trump is replaced, changing the ambassador won't help.
