I know a universal "bad sound" is subjective especially if its not a basically inherently negative sound like angry yelling but there's probably like some sound science or some shit done about it right? Like a dog bark is so fucking shrill and assailing

It's not even the dog's fault most of the time but there's so little that you can do to get them to stop barking short of scaring/yelling at them and I don't want to do that!!! That's awful and there's enough volume in the room as it is!!!!! But ohhhhh my goddddddddd dudeeeeeeeeeee

after I moved to chico I didn't realize how much I was taking a dog-less house for granted because holy shittttt when we moved to LA and my mom in law brought her two dachshunds here I felt like I was going fucking crazy. I did not miss that shrill fucking assault on my ears

Saying this as someone who lived in a (albeit single) dog household most of my life THAT SHIT IS MAD ANNOYING!!!!! not even accounting for multiple dogs or huge dogs or old dogs who will bark so much more often. I love dogs but does that sound not utterly infuriate anyone else???????
