The SAG strike is not complicated, no matter how much misinformation you read or spread.
If you are non-union/Fi-Core, withholding work on NU projects displays solidarity in the fight for AI protections.
To do so places your role at risk, sure. But people will remember that you stood your ground.

I've sued people. It is NOT cheap and you may not get your money back. Unenforceable protections is a risk on top of a risk on top of a Jenga-tower of risks.

There are many contracts out there with AI protections, but only SAG Interim & Tiered Budget Contracts provide actors with a legal team to enforce the contract at no cost. Legal fees are expensive, and many actors would have to go into debt to enforce our own contracts if they were violated.

For those unaware, SAG-AFTRA is entering it's 7th straight month of striking interactive projects for enforceable AI rights. SAG-AFTRA contracts are protected by their legal staff--I can't afford a lawyer without the union.
I am only working on projects signed to a SAG-AFTRA INTERIM AGREEMENT.

It's possible you may hear me get recast in a particular game that is very popular. If I am, it was not because I stepped away from the character willingly. :) It's because the employer refused to flip to an interim.
